About Balloon Pop

Balloon Pop is a free balloon typing game and the gentlest title on the platform — perfect for kids, beginners, or anyone warming up. Colourful balloons rise from the bottom of the screen, each carrying a single letter. Type that letter and the balloon explodes in a confetti burst — a friendly type-a-letter game that doubles as a letter typing game and an alphabet typing game for early learners.

The game ramps up gracefully. Every level scales the spawn rate and rise speed up by a small step. You start with five lives on Easy mode (three on Medium and Hard); a balloon escaping the top of the screen costs one. Pop streaks build a combo multiplier for bonus points.

Balloon Pop runs on LearnType's canonical typing engine, so the same letter-typing game works across three scripts. Bangla mode shows Bangla letters (অ আ ক খ স …) with the matching Avro or Bijoy keystroke, and Hindi mode shows Devanagari letters (अ आ क ख …) typed via Phonetic, InScript or Remington — the exact layouts used in Indian and Bangladeshi government typing exams. That makes it one of the few balloon typing games that helps you learn the keyboard in English, Bangla and Hindi, not just English.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know about Balloon Pop.

Is Balloon Pop free to play?
Yes — Balloon Pop is 100% free, runs in your browser, and needs no sign-up. It's one of the easiest free typing games for kids and beginners.
Is Balloon Pop good for kids?
Yes — it's the most kid-friendly game in the platform. Single-letter targets, big colorful balloons, no scary gameplay. The Easy difficulty gives 5 lives so a beginner can find their footing.
How do I type a balloon?
Each balloon carries one letter. Press the matching key and the balloon pops with a confetti burst, then the next letter appears — a pure type-a-balloon drill that builds instant key recall.
Is Balloon Pop a letter typing game or an alphabet typing game?
Both. English mode uses the full A–Z alphabet, so it works as an alphabet typing game for early learners and a letter typing game for anyone drilling single keys.
What letters appear?
English mode uses A–Z. Bangla mode uses 21 hand-picked Bangla letters that map to a single Avro keystroke (অ→o, আ→a, ক→k, etc). Hindi mode uses Devanagari letters typed via Phonetic, InScript or Remington.
Can I play Balloon Pop in Bangla and Hindi?
Yes. Balloon Pop supports English, Bangla (Avro Phonetic and Bijoy) and Hindi (Phonetic, InScript, Remington) on LearnType's canonical typing engine — including the layouts used in Indian and Bangladeshi typing exams.
Why don't I get penalized for wrong keys?
Wrong keys are counted in the accuracy stat (which feeds into your final score) but don't pop the wrong balloon. The wrong-key combo break is enough penalty for younger players.
How does the combo multiplier work?
Pop 3 consecutive balloons without a miss for a combo; tiers add +5 bonus points per pop. Missing a balloon or a wrong key resets the combo to 0.
What's the difference between difficulties?
Easy: 5 lives, slow rise, generous spawn gap. Medium: 3 lives, moderate. Hard: 3 lives, fast rise, rapid spawns. Each gets its own high score in your browser.
