About Food Ninja

Food Ninja is a free fruit ninja typing game — a fast-arcade typing slasher and a fun typing alternative to fruit-slicing arcade games. Fruits launch up from the bottom of the screen — apples, mangoes, peaches, watermelons — and your job is to type their names before gravity drags them back down. A successful type means a clean diagonal slash and a juicy splash of particles.

Three difficulty levels change what gets thrown. Easy throws single letters, medium throws short fruit names like 'fig' or 'plum', hard hurls full-length fruit words like 'watermelon' and 'pomegranate'. Bombs occasionally appear — type the word 'bomb' and you're done. It's one of the more fun typing games for a quick, replayable drill.

Bangla mode swaps the fruit pool for Bangla fruits like আম, কলা, লিচু, with the romanized phonetic key shown beneath each fruit — a handy bangla typing game for learning Bengali fruit vocabulary while building keyboard muscle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know about Food Ninja.

Is Food Ninja free to play?
Yes — Food Ninja is 100% free, runs in your browser, and needs no sign-up. Pick a mode and start slicing.
What kinds of fruits can show up?
Easy mode uses single letters (a–z). Medium uses short fruits like ‘fig', ‘pear', ‘kiwi'. Hard uses long names like ‘pineapple', ‘watermelon', ‘pomegranate'. Bangla pools are curated separately.
What happens if I misspell?
Wrong keys are simply ignored — there's no error penalty in Food Ninja, so you can mash freely. Missed fruits cost a life when 3 in a row drop.
How do combos work?
Slicing 3+ fruits before any drops increases your combo multiplier. Each tier (3×, 5×, 8×) adds bonus points per slice.
Are there any time limits?
Yes — the 60-second and 120-second modes lock you to that window. Infinite mode lets you go until you miss too many fruits or slice a bomb.
Can I play in Bangla?
Switch the launcher to Bangla and the fruit pool becomes Bangla fruit names like আম, কলা, লিচু, পেঁয়ারা, with romanized phonetic keys shown below each fruit.
Is there a Hindi version of Food Ninja?
Yes. Food Ninja supports Hindi (Phonetic, InScript and Remington) alongside English and Bangla, so you can slice fruits while practising Devanagari typing.
Is Food Ninja good for kids and beginners?
Yes. Easy mode uses single letters, so it works well as one of the gentler typing games for kids and complete beginners before they tackle full words.
