About Space Typer
Space Typer is the most action-packed game in the platform. Enemy fighters drop in from every direction — scouts, bombers, mother-ships — and they all fire homing missiles back at your defender ship. Every enemy and every missile carries a word over its head; type that word and it's gone.
The lock-on mechanic keeps the game readable in chaos: type the first letter of any visible word and you're committed to that target. Subsequent letters fire laser bolts from your wing cannons until the word is finished and the target detonates in a particle explosion.
Waves get bigger and faster, and every fifth level is a boss — a giant mothership with a long word and a screen-shaking explosion. Power-ups occasionally drop after kills: nukes that clear the screen, slow-mo, and shields that absorb a missile.
How to Play Space Typer
From start screen to high score in under a minute.
Lock on
Type any letter that starts a visible enemy or missile word. You're now locked onto that target.
Finish the word
Continue typing — wing cannons fire bolts until the word is complete and the target explodes.
Move to dodge
Use arrow keys to dodge incoming homing missiles you didn't type in time.
Watch your lives
Missile hits and enemies escaping past the bottom both cost a life. Game over at zero hearts.
